Ingredients
4 eggs
2 cups of milk
1 cup cream
3 tbsp caster sugar
6 large slices of ciabatta bread
½ jar Uncle Joe's Walnut Spread
50 gm sliced prunes
50 gm sliced figs
4 tbsp Kahlua
Method
Before starting the dish soak the last three things for an hour, then drain
Mix eggs, cream, milk and sugar and Kahlua.
Butter bread and spread with walnut spread.
Cut into wide strips and arrange in ovenproof dish.
Scatter figs and prunes over top then pour over egg mix.
Cover and refrigerate one hour.
Bake 40 mins, 180 degrees C or until custard is set.
