Angelas Bread and Butter Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 tbsp caster sugar
  • 6 large slices of ciabatta bread
  • ½  jar Uncle Joe's Walnut Spread
  • 50 gm sliced prunes
  • 50 gm sliced figs
  • 4 tbsp Kahlua

Method

  • Before starting the dish soak the last three things for an hour, then drain
  • Mix eggs, cream, milk and sugar and Kahlua.
  • Butter bread and spread with walnut spread.
  • Cut into wide strips and arrange in ovenproof dish.
  • Scatter figs and prunes over top then pour over egg mix.
  • Cover and refrigerate one hour.
  • Bake 40 mins, 180 degrees C or until custard is set.
